This weeks Pantone colour is perfect for Easter. Its not a typical colour you would associate with the holiday but matches perfectly. If you are having a destination wedding somewhere tropical, this colour is also well suited. Nectarine, along with the majority of this years Pantone colours, works well with the softer tones like grey and cream. Nectarine is on the darker side of the colour family where as peach is on the lighter and still fits with the Pantone. The peach is a common symbol of spring time and represents marriage. Peaches in the bedroom are thought to inspire marriage proposals and be a wonderful feng shui enhancer for singles.

Such a great springy colour, to help us get excited for the season ahead!

Your wedding invitations are the first thing your guests see, and are the only tactile piece of your wedding. The majority of the time, brides tend to want to incorporate their colour pallet, flowers and theme into their stationery which is a very good idea. It is kind of an introduction to your wedding and guests will know what to expect. What happens if you don’t really have colours? What if  flowers aren’t really your thing? Well… here is where you can have some real fun.

Courtney Jentzen from Swiss Cottage Designs, designed her own wedding invitations and we think they are just great! She used black and white for her colours and music was one thing that her and her fiance really wanted to incorporate. They had so much fun with their invitations and i bet it was fun receiving them too.

Something like this could be created for the city that you choose to get married in. Use landmarks as inspiration and make your guests excited to take a trip for your big day.Take a look and see what you think.
